I still find myself getting hopping mad when I think about missing that Josh Ritter concert at Off Broadway last year.  I absolutely love Mr. Ritter’s songwriting and his incredibly infectious joy associated everything he does.  Unfortunately a few punk kids decided to collect all of my electronics from my home, leaving me to piss and moan (kind of like I’m doing right now).  I think the laser-targeting gatling guns I mounted on my roof should defend me from having to miss another Josh Ritter show in the future.  Here are his 2010 U.S. tour dates so far (no STL, but here’s hoping it pops up later on):

• May 10th – Baltimore, MD – Ram’s Head Live
•  May 11th – Durham, NC – Carolina Theatre
•  May 13th – Atlanta, GA – Variety Playhouse
•  May 15th – Chicago, IL – The Vic Theatre
• May 19th – New York, NY – Town Hall
• May 20th – New York, NY – Town Hall

Thankfully Josh Ritter has a new album called So Runs the World Away coming out May 4 and he was nice enough to release a track from the new album on his website (all you have to do is enter your email address – or just download it below).
