STL’s The Gargoyle and Columbia’s Mojo’s have struck gold yet again.  Portland’s (by way of Alaska) Portugal. The Man will be playing The Gargoyle on Saturday, February 27 and Mojo’s on Wednesday, March 24. 

2009’s The Satanic Satanist, the fourth LP from  the Indie Pop/Soul foursome, finds the band tightening up the lose ends and creating a record which moves away from the spastic freestyle nature of their early sound to a more structured formula.  Don’t worry though with structure comes substance and when you see them live craziness will continue to erupt.
